Overview
Skanifo Attendance is the product of my collaboration project with my vocational high school, SMK N 4 Kendal. This product is an application to help teachers in recording attendance information in real time and make it easier for students to do attendance in my school. As requested by one of my teachers, the product should make students only able to take attendance when they are at the school location. Where, students cannot cheat, because later their location will be tracked when they open this application to take attendance. For the student's point of view, the product should have clear schedule information along with the start to finish time with attractive visuals and a feature that sends reminders / notifications to students when attendance is open or closed.
Emphatize
Understand the user problem by creating a research objective:
-Record attendance information in real time
-Minimize student tardiness
-Knowing that students actually go to school
-Reminder for students to arrive on time
Ideate
Create ideas that generate app features to be solutions to user problems :
-Location based absence feature
-Interval of the clock schedule on the homepage so that students when opening the application immediately know it
-Admin features for teacher access to collect information
-Notification feature by enabling device permissions
User Flow
Student Screen Main Features
-Login Screen: The login screen of the "Skanifo Attendance" application uses a simple form with username and password input. There is a forgot password option to anticipate user negligence.
-Home Page: The main page or homepage of the app displays important information such as user name, today's schedule, and schedule list. There is a large and easily accessible "Absen Sekarang" button to make it easier for users to record attendance.
-Attendance Menu: The attendance menu provided by the "Skanifo Absence" application has various options for recording attendance, such as absence in, absence out, permission, and location tracking. The use of clear icons and concise text on the menu makes it easy for users to select the appropriate option.
-Attendance History: Attendance history displays users' attendance data in a list form with an attractive appearance. Users can view their attendance history, including date, time, and tolerance limit in a neat and uncluttered manner.
-Profile: The "Skanifo Attendance" app profile allows users to change their profile picture and view their personal information.
